Census Sunday #7

This week's census image is from the 1940 US Census for St. Charles, Winona county, Minnesota, page 6B. (full image)
I am directly related to the family on lines 53-61. Lucy STEVENS (maiden Lucy Elizabeth MARKS) is my great-great grandmother. The census shows Lucy as a 62 year old  widow who finished 7th grade & was born in New York & was living in the same house in 1935. Her son Noah Lee (nickname "Jack"*) is listed as a 38 year old single man, born in Minnesota who finished 8th grade. Noah is also listed as a farm laborer who was living in the same house in 1935. Joseph E "Joe" is listed as a 25 year old single man, born in Minnesota who finished 8th grade. Joe* is also listed as a blacksmith who was living in rural Olmsted county, Minnesota in 1935 (Olmsed county is the next county to the west of Winona county.) Donald is listed as a 23 year old single man, born in Minnesota who finished all 4 years of high school. Donald (nickname "Sam"*) was a farm laborer who was living in the same house in 1935. Lucy E is listed as a 19 year old, born in Minnesota who finished all 4 years of high school. Lucy (nickname "Bob"*) is listed as a library assistant in a school who was living in the same house in 1935. Rhoda ROEDER (nickname "Toots"*) is listed as a 27 year old married woman (the M is crossed out though, so possibly going through a divorce or widowed), born in Minnesota who was living in the same house in 1935. Rhoda  David A ROEDER (likely son of Rhoda) is listed as a 1 year old who was born in Minnesota. Hazel L AMOS# is listed as a 18 year old born in Minnesota who finished all 4 years of high school & was living in Rural Olmsted county, Minnesota in 1935. # I currently have no clues as to who any of the parents of Hazel & Velva are. As of 12 April 2014 I have evidence that the parents of Hazel & Velva are Olewein & Alma (STEVENS) AMOS. Alma being the daughter of the Lucy that's the head of the household.
