Charles and Mary (WARREN) MARKS

Charles Valentine MARKS was born 14 Feb 1852 in Somersetshire, England. (I'm unaware of how political boundaries work in the UK, so please inform me of any changes I would have to make.) Charles immigrated to the US from England in 1871.

Mary Elizabeth WARREN was born 4 Jun 1856 in Minnesota to Valentine and Harriet (BLAIR) WARREN.

Charles and Mary were married 19 Oct 1876 in New York. They had 4 children: Lucy Elizabeth on 24 Jul 1877, Charles Ephriam about 1884, Mary Jane (date unknown), and Olive Gertrude on 6 Sep 1892.

Charles died 12 Sep 1926. (I'm assuming he died in Minnesota, but have no evidence to support that other then his burial in Minnesota.) Mary lived for almost 3 more years. She died 3 Jul 1929 in Saratoga township, Winona county, Minnesota of stomach cancer. They both have memorials on findagrave (Charles and Mary).

Warren and Lucy (MARKS) STEVENS

Warren Elmer STEVENS was born 25 Jul 1869 in Minnesota to William and Lucretia (ALBRO) STEVENS. Warren was the 5th of 7 children.

Lucy Elizabeth MARKS was born 24 Jul 1877 in Albany, Albany county, New York to Charles and Mary (WARREN) MARKS. Lucy was the oldest of 4 children.

Warren and Lucy were married 28 Nov 1893 in Winona county, Minnesota. They had 12 children: Herman Leroy "Roy" on 30 Oct 1894, Lula "Loel" on 4 Jul 1896, Charles Valentine "Charlie" on 29 Jul 1898, Alma Maud "Ruby" on 23 May 1900, Noah Lee "Jack" on 25 Jan 1902, a stillborn daughter on 4 Apr 1904, Mary Ruth on 21 Apr 1907, Walter Warren "Jim" on 21 Aug 1909, Rhoda Jane "Toots" on 24 Aug 1912, Joesph Edward "Joe" on 23 Oct 1914, Donald Edward "Sam" on 9 Apr 1917, and Lucy Elizabeth "Bob" on 20 Apr 1920. I was given the nicknames for the children by Joe's daughter Mary along with my mom & her brothers (grandchildren of Charles).

Warren died 24 Oct 1929 in Quincy township, Olmsted county, Minnesota of pancreatic cancer. Lucy lived for another 30 years and died 23 Mar 1959 in St. Charles, Winona county, Minnesota. She died of cardo-vascular disease. They both have profiles on findagrave (Warren and Lucy).
